Abel is a technology company developing a portfolio of smart sensors solutions, enabling realtime data and provide end to end solutions. We are active in two segments: Smart Parking and IoT solutions for (remote) monitoring. We have an active install base in 8+ European countries and are ambitious to enable further growth!

For our sales team, we are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager in Germany! As a new team member you will play a critical role in the growth of our business.

This is what you will do

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities within the car parking industry and actively acquire new customers in Germany. Your duties include as listed:

  • Performing a pioneering role and identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Approaching potential customers in Germany and acting as the business link between our German customers and our company.

  • Negotiating and closing deals with customers.

  • Explore potential partnerships and reseller strategies.

  • Work together with our Dutch sales team and product owners.

  • Building and maintaining a network in the parking industry.

This is who you are

You are customer-oriented, independent and self-driven. In addition, you have affinity and/or experience with technology oriented products and sales. You have:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a B2B sales role.

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Recent experience and networking within the car parking industry is a plus.

  • The drive to work in a pioneering role and create and grow the business in Germany.

  • An eye for opportunities and willing to travel around Germany.

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Good text writing skills is a preferred.

  • Excellent command in both English and German, both spoken and written.

  • A driver’s license.
